What is a Chinese New Year night without fireworks?
This Spring Festival, Liuyang fireworks turned the sky into a canvas and flames into brushstrokes, painting dazzling scenes of “a sleepless night lit by blossoms of fire” across cities nationwide.

Guangzhou: Lingnan Culture Meets 2,026 Drones
At 8:00 p.m. on February 17 (Chinese New Year’s Day), the Guangzhou Bai’etan Spring Festival Fireworks Gala lit up the Pearl River skyline.
Accompanied by powerful drumbeats, tens of thousands of fireworks soared into the night sky, illuminating the city in shimmering color.
The show blended Lingnan cultural elements with modern technology through a “fireworks + light show + façade projection + drone formation” format. A fleet of 2,026 drones formed iconic regional symbols such as the ao fish, the “Greater Bay Chicken,” and kapok flowers.
“We fused classic Cantonese folk melodies with symphonic and electronic music — allowing fireworks to be heard and music to be seen,” said Ye Zhixuan, chief planner of Apple Art Fireworks.
The performance spanned 800 meters, using four launch vessels and ten floating platforms. A total of 150,000 aerial shells enhanced the immersive viewing experience.
During the Spring Festival alone, Apple Fireworks staged six large-scale Level-A fireworks events across Guangzhou, Hainan, Xinjiang, and Jilin.
Shantou: 10,000 Drones Over the Sea
On February 18, Shantou’s Inner Bay became a sea of celebration.
The large-scale gala titled “Good Fortune Gallops to Shantou” was designed by director Huang Cheng’s team and executed by Yihe Long Fireworks Group.
In the sky:
A galloping horse formed by drones symbolized the Year of the Horse
An ao fish swam across the “galaxy”
Patterns such as “Spring Flourishes” and “Arcade Reflections” highlighted local customs
“Surfing in Nan’ao” and “Voyage Under the Stars” conveyed coastal vitality
Approximately 500,000 spectators gathered to witness the spectacle.
Facing new aviation regulations prohibiting drones from carrying fireworks payloads, the team innovated by deploying 10,000 drones alongside 26 coastal laser systems, seamlessly integrating fireworks with cutting-edge technology.
New customized fireworks effects such as “Spring Blossoms,” “Seven-Colored Cloud Tree,” and a 1.2-kilometer “Thousand-Layer Wave Fireworks” debuted nationwide.

Nearly 500 Shows Nationwide
According to statistics, during the Spring Festival holiday, Liuyang fireworks companies staged nearly 500 large-scale fireworks displays across China — delivering immersive audiovisual feasts and festive blessings to millions.
From Fireworks to Cultural Tourism
While lighting up celebrations nationwide, Liuyang is also accelerating its “fireworks + cultural tourism” strategy, upgrading the traditional fireworks industry toward higher quality, youth-oriented, and scenario-based experiences.
Today, Liuyang fireworks enterprises have established long-term partnerships with over 100 scenic destinations and theme parks, including:
