The 160-meter-high "Fireworks Light Tower" instantly lit up the night sky, while the "Heart of the Earth" transformed between heaven and earth, embodying the myriad phenomena of the universe.

Tonight, the 17th Liuyang Fireworks Culture Festival commenced at the Liuyang Sky Theater, with hundreds of thousands of spectators embarking on a luminous journey amidst a dazzling display.

The two-day festival features six main events, including the opening ceremony and fireworks art gala, the 6th Liuyang Fireworks Competition (LFC), the 5th Xiang-Gan Border Creative Fireworks Product Competition, the "Fireworks Illuminating the Future of Cultural Tourism" summit, the daytime fireworks show "Listening to the Sound of Blossoms," and the online fireworks festival "A Firework Belonging to Me," comprehensively showcasing the charm of fireworks.

As the highlight, the opening ceremony and fireworks art gala, themed "A Light-Year Promise," unfolded a celestial narrative transcending time and space through five chapters: "A Light-Year Message," "Birth - All Things," "Painting the Vast Sky," "Creating Myriad Phenomena," and "A Light-Year Promise."

The performance integrated sound, lighting, drone, and multimedia technologies, combined with fireworks as the core artistic language, creating an immersive experience that engaged the body, mind, and soul of the audience.

Among them, the 160-meter-high "Fireworks Light Tower," the world's tallest fireworks launching device, served as the festival's core artistic totem. It materialized "light-year" into forms such as the "Tree of Life" and "Light of Technology." The stage, centered around it, constructed a borderless visual system that blended natural landscapes with cutting-edge technology, achieving thevibeof "meeting beauty across light-years."

Prior to this, on October 1th, the "Tree of Life" formed by 15,947 drones challenging the Guinness World Record had garnered billions of views. The opening gala added further nocturnal wonders like the "Milky Way," "Umbrella Rain Smoke Bridge," and "Celestial Palace," refreshing the global expression of Liuyang culture.

The "Fireworks Illuminating the Future of Cultural Tourism" summit held concurrently on the same day attracted industry experts, scenic spot managers, and fireworks enterprise representatives from across the country to discuss new integration ideas and development trends around "fireworks + cultural tourism."

A relevant official from Liuyang City stated that the Fireworks Culture Festival is a core platform for demonstrating the industry's value, technological advancement, and cultural heritage, and it will help upgrade the fireworks industry and build the city's brand.

In the future, Liuyang will adhere to the dual integration of "culture + technology" and "culture + tourism" to promote the renewal of the fireworks industry and accelerate the construction of a "World Fireworks Tourism Destination."
